About
Built for the yard, by someone who needed it.
YardGuild is the operations layer for small equipment-rental yards across the Anglosphere — Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the US. One product, three verticals: tool / plant hire, party hire, ski hire.
We started from a frustration shared with a few owner-operators: every SaaS in this category is either a US-shaped tool with bolted-on multi-currency, or a local incumbent with dated UX. None of them get tax-invoice format right out of the box for AU GST, NZ IRD, UK VAT, IE VAT, CA GST, US sales tax. None of them ship SMS reminders included. Most charge per user and per location, which punishes the business model.
So we built one that doesn't.
What we believe
- Flat pricing. No per-user, no per-location, no "CRM upgrade" add-on. The number on the pricing page is the number on the invoice.
- You own your money. When a renter hands over a card, cash, or an EFTPOS swipe — that goes to your till, not through us. We're the records, not the payment processor.
- Local conventions matter."Jumping castle", "bouncy castle", "bounce house" — same item, three markets. "Hire" vs "rental", "bond" vs "deposit". The product speaks the words your customers use.
- Your data stays in your country. AU tenants on AWS Sydney, NZ on Auckland, UK/IE on London, CA on Montréal, US on N. Virginia. No cross-border transfer.
- Cancel any time.Month-to-month. Export your data as CSV. We don't hold you hostage.
Who's behind it
Founded 2026 by Allan Ninal, a Sydney-based engineer working on infrastructure for AU/NZ small businesses. YardGuild is a one-person shop today, growing as paying customers earn the next hire.
