- Will my NZ accountant accept HirePOS GST invoices?
- Mostly. HirePOS invoices show GST and a tax invoice format that's recognisable, but it's the AU ATO format — not the NZ IRD format your accountant will prefer. Most rework happens at month-end when reconciling to Xero NZ. Our invoices come out in NZ IRD format directly.
- We're in Queenstown, our customers are American + Australian. Do you handle their bonds in their currency?
- PayPal handles the FX on the bond hold — you charge in NZD, the customer's card shows the converted amount, PayPal eats the spread. Same as HirePOS would, except our base price for you is NZD so you don't have a second FX layer on the subscription itself.
- Honestly, is there any reason to stay on HirePOS if I'm in NZ?
